PLACES TO WATCH THE SUNSET

  1. Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge aka “Tappan Zee Bridge” in Tarrytown

Formerly known as the “Tappan Zee Bridge,” this state-of-the-art, three-mile twin-span connects Rockland and Westchester counties and is just a stone's throw away from New York City. Proudly holding the record for being the longest bridge in New York State, it lights up with magic on major holidays such as Christmas, Memorial Day, and St. Patrick’s. Still, the reason we love it so much is because of its unparalleled views of the horizon around that special part of the day. This well-structured bridge has a bicycle pathway that leads to visitor centers with vendors daily.
