Welcome to Hartsdale
Hartsdale Is a hamlet in the unincorporated section of The Town of Greenburgh, with an identity all its own. Hartsdale has its own train station and post office, two small business districts, and several shopping centers. Hartsdale straddles busy Central Avenue, which among other things has a Trader Joe’s and the Asian market H-Mart. Yet, there are also quiet neighborhoods with wooded settings like Manor Park and Windsor Park, and distinct neighborhoods like College Corners, with winding streets named Harvard and Yale, and Poet’s Corner where you can live on Longfellow or Keats. With a mixture of single-family homes on quiet tree-lined streets, townhomes, condominiums, and rental apartments, Hartsdale has something to suit nearly every budget. The approximately 5,300 residents, some of whom live within walking distance of the train, enjoy grabbing a Starbucks at the station before commuting into Manhattan, dining at one of the many ethnic residents in the area, or visiting the seasonal Farmer’s Market on weekends.
